2018 Historic Preservation Commission Award Winner For Remodel of the Year Award
The Next Phase of Construction
The first phase in our kitchen project in Glen Ellyn was to create a whole house drawing, and brief video (see below). Doing so, accomplished two big assurances.
One: For the client, that the new kitchen addition would harmonize with the rest of the existing home that was built nearly 100 years ago.
Two: For the local village's Zoning Board, so that they could understand its scale, and the hardships in the existing kitchen in order to grant a variance for the new kitchen addition.
These drawings and video assured both the client and the village. The project will move forward to the construction phase.
